Supporting Bremen Public Schools
Teacher & Extracurricular Grants
These grants represent our inaugural program initiative, currently offered in two granting cycles in the Spring and Fall. Grant applications are accepted with the approval of department heads and administrators and reviewed and awarded by an independent granting committee. Teachers, coaches, club sponsors and extracurricular program directors are eligible for grants up to $1,000

Our first round of grants, awarded in the Spring of 2024, totaled over $6,600 to seven applicants. Our goal is to steadily increase the amounts awarded and the number of applicants to make as large an impact as possible.

Book Fair
March 2024
In March, the Partnership helped put books in the hands of deserving and grateful children with a contribution to the annual Book Fair. Teachers and organizers identified students who might not otherwise have the means to purchase books with a desire to learn and read. In some cases, books were donated to entire families!
Teacher & Classroom Grants
Our teacher and classroom grants help provide programming, materials and equipment to our educators. Requests are submitted for specific needs or ideas with detailed budgets and costs.
Extracurricular Grants
These grants encompass everything from athletic and academic teams to clubs and school-sponsored student organizations. Funds can be used for equipment, registration fees, programming or anything else that enhances the student experience.
BPS Endowment Fund
The BPS Education Endowment Fund is managed by the Marshall County Community Foundation. Investment income and interest can be used to improve the school and enhance the student experience. The Partnership is dedicated to investing a portion of it's proceeds to the endowment each year and donations can be made directly to fund as well.
NOW Grants
Certain needs for our teachers and school-sponsored organizations are immediate or emergent. The Partnership is open to help in these circumstances outside of our normal granting cycle, where able and approved by the administration.
