Grant Applications

The program awards grants up to $1,000
All requests must be for school-sanctions events, activities, programs, clubs or BPS classrooms led by staff, volunteers or sub-contractors of BPS.
Applications can be submitted on this site or completed hard copies and supplemental information can be emailed to bpspartnership@bps.k12.in.us
Grant requests should not be for:
- Materials or equipment not directly related to the classroom, program or organization
- Compensation for staff, volunteers or subcontractors.
- Materials supplies or equipment normally funded by BPS.

Progress on this online application cannot be saved. Please do not start until you are able to finish.

Printable versions of the applications are available here. Submission can be typewritten or hand written and emailed bpspartnership@bps.k12.in.us, turned into the administration office or submitted on this site via the online form.
Please be as thorough and detailed as possible about your request, your program's financials and the impact you expect the grant to have on the school.

All applications are reviewed by an independent and impartial Grant Review Committee.
The Superintendent of Schools will have the opportunity to review grant awards to ensure they fall within the mission of the school system.
Applications will be evaluated with consideration for the following. A copy of the evaluation criteria and scoring rubric can be found here.
- Impact on the school, program or organization.
- The number of participants in the program or organization
- The number of students directly and indirectly impacted
- The sustainability and perpetual impact of request
- Innovation and uniqueness of the project
- Clearly stated budgets with supporting documentation for items to be purchased or use of funds.
